Crosley's story began in 1921, when inventor Powel Crosley created the first small portable radio receiver, becoming the best invention for music lovers at the dawn of the century, and turning this company into the largest music technology manufacturer in America. Music – for everyone – is a motto that reflects Crosley's core mission. Since 1992, Crosley has resumed the production of turntables, believing in vinyl as a unique music medium at a time when CDs were reigning, and when other manufacturers had ceased turntable production, Crosley revived it at full capacity, introducing the updated classic model – the Cruiser suitcase.
