"Coffee that protects" is one of VERO CAFE's initiatives designed to contribute to the activities of the National Inviolable Forest Fund.

Sustainability starts first with our choices. Throughout May, June and July, we allocated 4% of funds from each kilogram of coffee to the National Inviolable Forest Fund. Today we are happy with 3000 planted trees. 🌳

Did you know that one European is responsible for around 6.7 tons of CO2 emissions per year? At least 319 mature trees are needed to offset this amount of pollution. Planting forests is the best tool in the fight against climate change, but it is equally important to allow trees to grow and age, because old trees are better carbon sinks. Thanks to the National Inviolable Forest Trust, the 3,000 trees we planted will never be cut down and will grow into a mature forest to help fight climate change. 🦸

The National Inviolable Forest Fund is a charity and support fund whose mission is to contribute to the preservation and expansion of Lithuania's most precious asset - forests. Forest development is one of the most important measures in the fight against climate change. The goal of this fund is until 2050. to plant three million trees. The most important thing is that the planted forest will never be cut or otherwise used for commercial purposes. The foundation's activities include both forest planting initiatives open to the public, as well as environmental, cognitive and educational activities, and youth natural science education. We are excited about the work of this foundation and proud to be a part of this meaningful initiative.
