Preparation:

1. Place a paper filter in the Chemex container, wet it with water so that the specific taste and smell of the paper does not remain, and the filter itself sticks to the walls. Pour the water out of the Chemex container.

2. Then pour coarsely ground coffee into the filter, distribute it evenly in the container and fill it with water (you need twice as much as coffee). In this way, the good qualities of the coffee are stimulated and the so-called "blooming" of the coffee begins.

3. The carbon dioxide bubbles rising from the coffee betray the freshness of the coffee, the more they are, the fresher the coffee. Let the drink spread for about 20-25 seconds, then add a little more water in light circular motions.

4. After the break, slowly pour the rest of the water and after the coffee has run into the coffee preparation container, remove the filter.

5. Taste.
