Cascara tea is a unique drink made from dried coffee berries, the pulp that surrounds the coffee bean.
Cascara tea has long been a favorite in Yemen and Ethiopia, and recently coffee growers in South America (especially El Salvador and Bolivia) are increasingly exporting this product.
Cascara tea is a drink with a delicate fruity taste, which also retains a bit of caffeine, making it easy to tonic. It tastes like rosehip tea.
Method of preparation (200 ml):
- Add 2 teaspoons of dry cascara tea to the cup.
- Boil with hot but not boiling water.
- Wait 3-5 minutes.
