The story of the film revolves around Henry Hill, who dropped out of school to become one of the gangsters he had always idealized. From a young age, he started working for Paul and learned an important lesson: never complain to your friends, and don't shut up if you get arrested. He was taught this by Jimmy, a higher-ranking gangster. Jimmy and another friend of Henry's, Tommy, eliminate everyone who doesn't suit them, so they gradually rise up the gangster hierarchy. They are no longer limited to petty thefts and are taking on bigger ones. One day, the hotheaded Tommy beats Gambino family member Billy Bats to death after he insults him. And so begins the downfall of Jimmy and Tommy. And what will Henry do to save his healthy coat?
